Ice Age: Continental Drift - Fun For The Whole Family (Review and Activity Sheets)

Are you looking for a fun gift the whole family can enjoy?
Blue Sky Studios unveils a brand new chapter in one of the most successful film franchises of all time. Bringing together the visually epic and the emotionally powerful, ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT sets sail on Blu-ray™ 3D, Blu-ray™, and DVD from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment on December 11, just in time for the holidays.
Synopsis: Sub-zero heroes Manny, Diego, and Sid embark upon a high-seas adventure after their continent is set adrift. Using an iceberg as a ship, they encounter sea creatures and battle pirates as they try to reunite with their herd. In the wake of these upheavals, Sid reunites with his cantankerous Granny, and the herd encounters a ragtag menagerie of seafaring pirates determined to stop them from returning home.
We watched this film as a family and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. It was nice to see the old Ice Age gang back for a new adventure. Manny, Diego and Sid get separated from Manny's family and in trying to find their way back, have lots of adventures. As usual, we got our biggest laughs from Scrat and his acorn-chasing antics. The film also has some great messages about the importance of family and being yourself. Overall, this movie delivered exactly what we've come to expect from the Ice Age franchise - lots of action, big laughs and heartwarming story lines.
Whether you're searching for a gift for that special child in your life or just want a fun film for family movie night, ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT is an ideal choice. For some extra family fun, here are some activity sheets you can print out and there's even a e-card you can send to friends or family.

Disclosure: I received a copy of the film for review. All opinions are honest and my own.
